Easy Chords: Chord Progressions Made Easy Write breath taking chord progressions, bass lines, and arpeggios, without learning any music theory. Each set has a different feel and emotion, and all will work great with electronic music, hip hop, pop and more. Hey there, I´ve just been messing around and had a lot of fun practicing with some plugins and fx, so I created vocal samples with two songs that I recorded with a great female singer two years ago. I just thought there isn't much sense to have these recordings sitting on my harddrive and not doing something with the material. Also, now is the time to sit down and try new plugins and techniques.

In this interview I sit down with established producer Bass Kleph. He's been in the industry for nearly 2 decades, from being a drummer in a major label signed band to releasing on the biggest dance music labels. We talk about the difficulties of running a label, what to look out for in label contracts, and the benefits of having a coach or mentor. We also dive into his 4 step framework for writing and finishing songs.Bass Kleph - @basskleph and @taisunmusicShow Notes: edmprod.com/episode-68

@roval_iii: Thanks Roval! Not necessarily. I just kept my open for opportunities. I was in Sydney in 2002 when i was starting this. There was hardly any scene at all at the time. I just got involved with what ever we had, then started reaching out to other people online. Later i started building my own scene too. I think you can make it no matter where you are based. Especially with how easy it is to connect now online. I started out before MySpace, let alone Facebook, Youtube, Soundcloud, and Beat Port.

too much great information in this interview! quick question, do you feel that location is an important factor? in your early years it sounded like you were at the right place at the right time when awesome opportunities came towards you

This was a phenomenal interview. I loved the advice about being careful with exclusive contracts, and making composition the focus. Thanks guys!
